          The Germans concentrate their attack on Mokotów, while the rest of the districts enjoy relative peace.
          The all-out enemy strike results in smashing insurgent forces in Mokotów, whose casualties already exceed 70%. The defenders are squeezed in the area bounded by Kazimierzowska, Ursynowska, Puławska and Różana Streets.
          In the afternoon hours during temporary ceasefire, nearly 9000 civilians leave Mokotów.
          Lieutenant Colonel Józef Rokicki "Karol", having no response to his telegram asking for permission to evacuate Mokotów, begins to withdraw his troops to Śródmieście using the sewers.
          The evacuation through the sewers commences. Injured soldiers from the "Radosław" unit, who arrived in Mokotów from Powiśle Czerniakowskie three days ago, are the first to enter the manholes on Wiktorska Street.
          Soon it turns out that the sewers below Wiktorska Street are buried, so a new underground evacuation route is searched for.
          On the night of 26 and 27 September, the troops scheduled to be evacuated together with the command and staff of Mokotów enter the manholes on Szustra Street and climb down to the sewers. But not all of them will reach Śródmieście. The Germans throw gas grenades, carbide and other toxic chemicals into the canals. They also raise water level in the sewers.
          General "Monter" ("Assembler") does not approve the decision about the evacuation and orders "Karol" to come back and continue to defend Mokotów, but "Karol" is unable to carry out this order.

          The Germans execute over 100 insurgents climbing out of the sewers on Chocimska Street in Mokotów.

          The first meeting of the insurgents with German mediators to negotiate the capitulation takes place in Śródmieście on Łucka Street.
