2 Mehoffera Street. The St. Jacob Apostle church. During the occupation and the Warsaw Uprising it was the area of operation of the VII Home Army District "Obroża" of the I Region "Marianowo-Brzozów".
Inside the church there is a plaque dedicated to the soldiers of both 5th and 6th companies of the Home Army 2 Battalion, who came through the Vistula river during the Uprising, then reached Kampinos and on September 21, 1944 lost their lives in the battle of a village called Polesie Nowe.
At the nearby cemetery there is an insurgent quarters where the fallen soldiers coming from Białołęka were transported from Kampinos. At the quarters a memorial cross-monument is placed.
