1 Kaliska street. Between the streets Kaliska and Grójecką there is a small square called Reduta Kaliska. An original monument that imitates a wall was built on the square. Memorial plaques were situated on the monument. Benches of the similar architecture style were also placed there.
At the beginning of the Warsaw Uprising two insurgent squads commanded by Second Lieutenant Janusz Jastrzębski a.k.a. "Pobóg" and Lt. Andrzej Włodzimierz Chyczewski a.k.a. "Gustaw" built in this area a defence position called Reduta Kaliska which defended the access to the City Centre from August 1 till August 9, 1944.
