56 Karolkowa Street. You can find two plaques on the 147 Primary School building wall.
The first plaque reads as follows,
In memory of the teachers and students of the 8 Common School - the military conspiracy members and Warsaw insurgents.
In the years 1936-1939 the above-mentioned school was situated in this building.
The Warsaw City Council
The Wola District Council
Warsaw, August 2009
The second plaque states,
This place is sanctified with the blood of Polish people who died for their homeland's freedom.
On August 5 and 10, 1944 in numerous executions the Germans murdered and burnt c. 1400 inhabitants of Wola district, including many school pupils.
The plaque used to be installed on the old building's wall (53 Karolkowa), presently most probably waiting to be pulled down, on the opposite side of the street.
