79 Grzybowska street - Wola
Over the area of the Warsaw Uprising Museum in 79 Grzybowska street, Beyond the Remembrance Wall in the Park of Freedom - the Rose Garden is situated. One can look over a permanent exhibition of mural painting entitled "The Wall of Art". Works by both Polish and foreign artists are presented there.
The first mural was painted there by Edward Dwurnik in the year 2006. Subsequently, more than 20 mural paintings appeared in this place. Next works are believed to be painted there in the future.
The Warsaw Uprising Museum was first opened on July 31, 2004 over the area of the former Warsaw Tram Power Station in the Wola district. The Museum, making use of modern audio-visual means, presents the history of the Warsaw Uprising 1944 and, in a broader sense, the history of the Polish Underground State. The museum is very popular among both Warsaw residents and tourists who sightsee the capital of Poland.
