13 Mahatma Gandhi street - Mokotów
This mural was painted in the year 2011 on the gym wall of the 43rd Secondary School named after Kazimierz Wielki in 13 Mahatma Gandhi street.
On the left, against the brick background, one can see the Fighting Poland anchor, whereas on the right there is a date: I.VIII - II.X (August 1 - October 2) and an inscription: Pamiętamy (We remember). In the middle part the wall is ruined. There is also a white and red inscription: 1944, with the figures of insurgents on both sides, with the city on fire in the background.
During the Warsaw Uprising 1944 the Home Army "Baszta" regiment fought in this area.
