The Wartime Memoirs of Leon Kopleman
|
We invite you to read the wartime memoirs of Leon Kopelman. Native of Warsaw he lived through the hell of the Warsaw Ghetto. In the first days of August of 1944 he was freed form Gesiowka by the soldiers of "Zoska" battalion. As a volunteer he walked the battle track of the "Radoslaw" union, from the Old Town to Czerniakow. After the liberation in 1945, together with his friend, he left for the ancient cradle of his nation - Palestine.
