9 Icchok Lejb Perec (formerly Ceglana street). The memory place can be found on the building enclosure. A bilingual commemorative plaque, unveiled on August 21, 2019, reads in Polish and English as follows,

In this place, on August 21, 1944
Wojtek Zalewski
"White Eagle", eleven-year-old insurgent,
from the "Chrobry II" grouping was killed
who during the Warsaw Uprising
was noted for his great courage and bravery
Honoured his memory!

The piece of information given on the plaque is not precisive. "White Eagle" was killed several hundred metres further away, in Ciepła street next to Krochmalna street. His friends took care of his dead body.
He was then buried on the yard of 3 Ceglana street, nearby the place where the plaque is situated. The building is non-existing as on its site now stands a high-rise block.
The corpse of Wojtuś was never found after the WW II. On July 31, 2020 on the Powązki Military Cemetery a monument inspired by the "Warsaw Pieta" photograph was unveiled in the place of a symbolic boy's grave, i.e. A 25, row 10, grave 21.
